Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining succulent shrimp, garlic, and a touch of heat from red pepper flakes, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until they turn pink.
  4. Add blistered cherry tomatoes and the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing everything together.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Don’t overcook the shrimp; they should only take a few minutes to turn pink. Add a splash of lemon juice before serving for enhanced taste.
