Description

A delightful seafood dish combining shrimp and mussels in a rich, creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the white wine and let it cook for a couple of minutes to reduce.
  3. Add the shrimp and mussels to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook until the mussels open and the shrimp turns pink.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until combined; let simmer for a few more minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with crusty bread, pasta, or a light salad. Store leftovers in the fridge for 1-2 days.
