Description

Quick and healthy protein balls that are perfect for snacks or pre-workout fuel.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or any other)
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (whey, plant-based, or your favorite)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, protein powder, and salt.
  2. Add in the nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. If you want, mix in chocolate chips or dried fruit for added flavor.
  4. Once mixed, use your hands to form small balls, about one inch in diameter.
  5. Place the protein balls on a plate or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes to set.
  7. Enjoy your protein balls as a healthy snack!

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
