- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg until well blended.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; be careful not to overmix!
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Pour the batter into the skillet, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked through.
- Once done, remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing.
