Delicious and healthy no-bake granola bars that are perfect for snacking or a quick breakfast. Easy to customize to fit your taste!
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup Rice Krispies
- 1/2 cup nut butter (or nut-free Subutter)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and Rice Krispies.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the nut butter, honey, butter, and brown sugar, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Freeze for up to three months.
