Description

A delicious dish with a perfect balance of sweet and creamy sauce paired with crunchy walnuts and juicy shrimp.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, condensed milk, lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper to make the sauce. Set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Toss the shrimp in cornstarch.
  4. Fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. In the same oil, fry the walnuts until golden and fragrant, then drain.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the crispy shrimp with the sauce and top with candied walnuts. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
