Description
A delicious dish with a perfect balance of sweet and creamy sauce paired with crunchy walnuts and juicy shrimp.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, condensed milk, lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper to make the sauce. Set aside.
- In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Toss the shrimp in cornstarch.
- Fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same oil, fry the walnuts until golden and fragrant, then drain.
- In a large bowl, combine the crispy shrimp with the sauce and top with candied walnuts. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.
