Description

A delicious dish combining sweet and savory flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the chicken until golden and crispy.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, let the chicken sit in the cornstarch for about 10 minutes before frying. You can also use chicken thighs for a juicier option. Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
