Description

A flavorful meal combining tender chicken with creamy Cajun sauce and spices, perfect for family dinners or meal prep. Packed with protein and rich in taste.


Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 800 g Chicken Breast (cut into halves)
  • 1.5 tsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 25 g Grass Fed Butter for Cooking
  • 1 Medium Red Onion (chopped)
  • 4-5 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
  • 15 g Grass Fed Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 150 g Light Cream Cheese
  • 40 g Parmesan


Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breast pieces overnight with Cajun Seasoning Mix and olive oil.
  2. Heat a pan and melt the grass-fed butter; cook the marinated chicken until golden.
  3. Let chicken rest, then slice into strips.
  4. Sauté chopped red onion and garlic in the same pan until fragrant.
  5. Add remaining Cajun Seasoning Mix, then toss in day-old rice.
  6. Lower the heat and melt the butter, whisk in the milk.
  7. Add light cream cheese and Parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  8. Layer Cajun rice on a plate, top with chicken, and drizzle sauce over.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate for at least 4 hours if overnight isn’t possible. Use day-old rice for best results; it holds up better.
