A nutritious and delicious snack combining nuts, dried fruit, and oats, perfect for a quick energy boost.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup of dried fruit
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the nuts, dried fruit, oats, and salt together until well combined.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey over low heat until it becomes liquid, being careful not to boil it.
- Pour the warm honey into the dry mixture and stir it well to coat everything evenly.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
- Once cooled, break the mixture into bars or clusters.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. For a vegan version, substitute honey with maple syrup.
