A quick and rewarding dish that combines tender ground beef with crunchy broccoli, perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or olive)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add minced garlic and broccoli florets; stir-fry for about 5 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- In a small bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Pour this mixture into the skillet and stir well.
- Allow the sauce to thicken, cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
