Description

A delightful dish combining the rich flavors of garlic and butter with fresh shrimp, resulting in a creamy and impressive meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and season with salt and pepper; cook until pink and cooked through.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet; toss to combine.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, use zucchini noodles instead of traditional pasta. Adjust garlic and red pepper flakes to suit your taste.
