Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- Cooked pasta or rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream. Stir to combine.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice, and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and adjust garlic to taste. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water or broth.
