Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- If you want to thicken the sauce, combine the cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the crockpot about 30 minutes before serving.
- Shred the chicken and stir it back into the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
