Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch. Dip each piece into the beaten eggs, followed by coating it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken in batches until golden and crispy on all sides.
- In a separate saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Heat over medium until it starts to bubble.
- Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss to coat well.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in eggs and breadcrumbs. Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
