Description

A fun and delicious dish featuring crispy chicken coated in a sweet and savory sauce, perfect for family dinners or a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch. Dip each piece into the beaten eggs, followed by coating it with breadcrumbs.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken in batches until golden and crispy on all sides.
  3. In a separate saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Heat over medium until it starts to bubble.
  4. Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss to coat well.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in eggs and breadcrumbs. Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
