Description

Enjoy crunchy, healthier Air Fryer Fried Pickles that are perfect for snacks or appetizers, providing a tangy flavor without deep frying.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced pickles
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (e.g., Tabasco)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup minced onions
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lay down paper towels, arrange the pickles, and let them dry for a few minutes.
  2. Whisk together eggs, flour, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. In another dish, add the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each pickle in the egg wash, coat in breadcrumbs, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Add pickles in a single layer, spray with oil, and air-fry for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Flip the pickles, spray with oil again, and air-fry for another 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the dip, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, minced onions, garlic, and dill in a small bowl. Enjoy!

Notes

Let pickles dry thoroughly for best crispiness. Adjust hot sauce to your taste and experiment with different breadcrumb seasonings.
