Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Return the shrimp to the skillet.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and toss to combine with the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
