Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Return the shrimp to the skillet.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine and toss to combine with the sauce.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
