Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning, stirring well.
- Pour in the spaghetti and enough water to cover the pasta. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until spaghetti is cooked, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until creamy.
