Description

Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta is a delightful dish that’s easy to prepare and packed with flavor, perfect for impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for better flavor.
