Description

A creamy and flavorful bisque combining sweet crab meat and tender shrimp, perfect for seafood lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  2. Pour in the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp is pink.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and Old Bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Let the bisque simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Use fresh seafood for the best taste. Can be made a day in advance for more enhanced flavors.
