Description
A creamy and flavorful bisque combining sweet crab meat and tender shrimp, perfect for seafood lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 lb crab meat
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
- Pour in the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
- Add the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp is pink.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Old Bay seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the bisque simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Use fresh seafood for the best taste. Can be made a day in advance for more enhanced flavors.
