Description

Delicious and guilt-free doughnuts combining rich chocolate and fresh apples.


Ingredients

  • 2 apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the apple slices.
  6. Spoon the mixture into a doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, serve with powdered sugar or melted dark chocolate on top.
