Delicious and guilt-free doughnuts combining rich chocolate and fresh apples.
Ingredients
- 2 apples, cored and sliced
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Gently fold in the apple slices.
- Spoon the mixture into a doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before removing from the pan.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, serve with powdered sugar or melted dark chocolate on top.
