Delightful snack or appetizer with crispy outside and gooey inside, made with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with some salt and pepper to add flavor.
- Form the cheese mixture into golf ball-sized bites.
- Dip each bite into the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Roll the bites in panko breadcrumbs until well covered.
- Place the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing. Decorate with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
