A simple and comforting dish that combines ground beef, creamy cheese, and fluffy rice, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the cheese is slightly golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra spice, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce. You can substitute with brown rice for a healthier option, or mix in frozen veggies for added nutrition.
