Description

A simple and comforting dish that combines ground beef, creamy cheese, and fluffy rice, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the cheese is slightly golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra spice, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce. You can substitute with brown rice for a healthier option, or mix in frozen veggies for added nutrition.
