Description

A quick and tasty beef stir fry with colorful mixed vegetables and a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss in the mixed vegetables and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Stir well and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Slice the beef against the grain for more tenderness. Customize with different vegetables or proteins as desired.
