A quick and tasty beef stir fry with colorful mixed vegetables and a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Toss in the mixed vegetables and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Stir well and cook for an additional minute.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Slice the beef against the grain for more tenderness. Customize with different vegetables or proteins as desired.
