A quick and delicious Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry that combines tender beef with fresh broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (sliced thin)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until it’s browned and cooked through. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli and a splash of water; stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
For the beef, you can use flank steak, sirloin, or any cut that you prefer. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for added color and nutrition.
