A delicious and quick meal combining savory beef and nutritious broccoli, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add broccoli and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stir well, and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding sesame seeds or sliced green onions as a topping.
