Description

A delicious and quick meal combining savory beef and nutritious broccoli, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (for serving)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Add broccoli and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stir well, and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve immediately over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sesame seeds or sliced green onions as a topping.
