Description

A delicious and satisfying dish featuring tender beef, fresh broccoli, and lo mein noodles in a savory sauce, perfect for quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to create a sauce mixture.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Toss in broccoli and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and sauce mixture to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Make sure to slice the beef thinly for quicker cooking and a tender texture. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra color and nutrition.
