Ingredients
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to create a sauce mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Toss in broccoli and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles and sauce mixture to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Make sure to slice the beef thinly for quicker cooking and a tender texture. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra color and nutrition.
