Ingredients
- 6 cups bread flour
- 2 packets rapid rise yeast
- 3 cups warm water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the bread flour and rapid rise yeast.
- Gradually add the warm water while stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes or until it has doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Make sure the water is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast. Kneading develops gluten for better texture.
