Description
Crispy Air Fryer Chicken & Mozzarella Wraps are a quick and tasty meal, perfect for weeknight dinners or as a satisfying snack, featuring chicken, mozzarella, and fresh spinach.
Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts (Approximately 1 pound total)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing (Optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the seasoning.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the seasoned chicken strips in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the air fryer. On each tortilla, place a layer of fresh spinach, followed by a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese, and the cooked chicken strips.
- Roll the tortillas tightly to enclose the filling. Spray the outside of each wrap lightly with olive oil spray. Place the wraps in the air fryer basket seam-side down.
- Air fry the wraps at 375°F (190°C) for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the tortillas are crispy and golden.
- Remove the wraps from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Slice each wrap in half and serve with ranch dressing if desired.
Notes
Make sure to cut the chicken into even strips for consistent cooking. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; it’s better to cook in batches for an even crisp. Feel free to add other veggies like bell peppers or tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition.
